Our data principles

Unknown is not zero. Funding, valuation and market capitalization are different metrics. Annual shipments exclude production targets and orders. Company revenue is kept separate from robotics revenue.

Open source is curated by institutional evidence and artifact-specific terms. GitHub stars are an interest signal, not a quality guarantee.

Privacy & analytics

Page views and external clicks are measured separately. IP addresses are normalized transiently and converted to independent period HMAC tokens; raw IPs and User-Agent strings are not stored in the analytics database. Calendar day, week and month use Asia/Seoul. Counts represent IP addresses, not people.

Events are retained for 90 days; daily tokens for 35 days; week/month tokens until seven days after period end; numeric aggregates for 24 months. Administrators and known bots are excluded. Browser blocking can cause undercounting.
